Prelude
We’re guessing that most of our readers are no stranger to the chat group on telegram, “NUS Buffet Response Team”. If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t come across it yet, check out our previous article here.
The last time we talked about the NUS Buffet chat, it was about werewolves and sex stickers. More than 2 months have passed since then, and during this time, while things haven’t been as exciting, much has transpired in the chat group. In this article, we curated some of our favourite troll moments. See if you can spot yourself or a friend!
When this dude made this joke
When someone started a fake command spam
Andrea Leong who tried her best to stop the spam...
And Sean Ong who just doesn’t give a f***.
When this dude tried to sell leftover food to vegans
Still looks better than some of the shit you get at Koufu.
And when this dude tried to sell all of us a telegram Stocks application.
Arvind... no, just.. no.
When these guys were a little bit too excited about joining the chat group.
And Linh Nguyen said what the other 2000 members were thinking.
And when some expressed that they weren’t too happy about being invited to a chat group with over 2000 students.

When this girl tried to get the chat group to help her find her wallet
And (who we presume is) the heartless group admin who simply reminded everyone not to spam.
Oh, and /dinner makes a comeback!
And finally, when this dude said “Hi” to no one and everyone
Pretty sure ‘sue’ was a group admin replying to remind him not to spam.
We’ll probably not see much action in the chat group during the summer, but stay tuned to find out next semester if the group admins will finally be successful in maintaining law and order in the chat group, or if the rebels will finally overcome the ruling class with their spam and inappropriate messages.
